Racism: words are not enough



There have been statements of “condemnation” and a “zero tolerance” approach in the wake of a 43% increase in the number of racist attacks in Northern Ireland, but that is simply not good enough.

What are the executive parties doing to actively stamp out racism?

What happened to the Racial Equality Strategy consultation launched last year?

Politicians and community representatives must do more to help tackle the blight of racism which brings worldwide shame to all of us in Northern Ireland.

When a representative from a party seeking your vote in the Westminster election calls at your door ask them “what are YOU doing to tackle racism”?
